The Council on Foundations is an association of foundations and
corporations that serves the public good by promoting and enhancing responsible and
effective philanthropy. Includes a directory of community foundations and information on
establishing a foundation.

enables contributors to make sound giving decisions. Every charity
should be familiar with the NCIB's Standards in Philanthropy, which
